Properties
Protective culture with very low oxidation. ASTRO PR forms lactic acid type L(+) and breaks down small amounts of citrate to diacetyl and acetoin. Very salt tolerant. It has been proven that this culture biologically inhibits the growth and activity of unwanted microorganisms.
