niroklar SF is a liquid, acidic special cleaning agent based on a combination of inorganic acids and special dispersing components.

It combines gentle material compatibility with excellent cleaning performance against mineral and organo-mineral deposits.

Working solutions of niroklar SF operate under all practical conditions without foam formation and are characterized by very good dispersing properties toward detached soil particles. This results in a high absorption capacity of contaminants by the cleaning solution.

When used within the recommended concentration and temperature ranges, niroklar SF is suitable for cleaning surfaces made of stainless steel, aluminum, and acid-resistant plastics. Rubber and other acid-resistant seals commonly used in the food industry are not affected.

niroklar SF must not be used on galvanized surfaces.

Areas of application

niroklar SF can be used in all sectors of the food industry where low aggressiveness, good rinsability, and absence of foam are essential, combined with strong cleaning and dispersing performance.

Its preferred application is the acidic cleaning of kegs, as well as equipment in filtration departments and bright beer tanks in the brewing industry.

In addition, niroklar SF can be used as an additional acidic step following alkaline cleaning of internal equipment surfaces. For cold disinfection, it can be added to disinfectants based on peracetic acid, such as neoseptal PE, allowing conductivity-based monitoring.

During the cleaning and disinfection of membrane systems for micro- and ultrafiltration, niroklar SF is used in the acidic cleaning and neutralization step.

niroklar SF can be applied in a temperature range from 0 to 95 °C. Treatments at higher temperatures must be carried out in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations, especially when cleaning membrane systems.
