ASTRO NISIN is a natural powdered preservative (European Community Approved Food Additive No. E-234) derived by fermentation of the Lactococcus Lactis strain, which can be used in food production. ASTRO NISIN can be used in the production of aged cheeses, pasteurized products, soups, canned vegetables, fruit juices and many other products.
It extends the shelf life of the product by acting against gram-positive bacteria, including those resistant to heat treatment.
