PHA® Classics is derived from hop using special extraction and distillation methods. They consist of original hop oil compounds in a propylene glycol (PG) solution. PG is an approved flavor carrier in accordance with regulation 2006/52/EU. Classic products are 100% soluble in beer (or other drinks).

PHA® Classics offer an alternative way to add hop aroma, independent of any other product or process, and independent of annual harvest changes. They can complete traditional hop addition methods, as well as give it citrusy, floral, grassy, or spicy flavors to the beer. They enhance pleasant existing flavors in the beer/soft drink and may conceal some off-flavors.
